Overturn Citizens United

We the people have had it. Corporations are not people. Elections should not be auctions, and we refuse to let our democracy be put up for sale. We are standing together to call for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.

Citizens United and other recent court decisions have opened the floodgates to big money influence in our democracy, giving special interests and the wealthy more control over our government and economy than they've enjoyed since the Gilded Age of the late 19th century.

The domination of politics by corporations and the mega-rich is a profound threat to democracy and freedom in the United States, and we have to fight back.

Early this year, Money Out Voters In and dozens of allied organizations made a plan to deliver 5 million petition signatures on the five year anniversary of the Citizens United to Congress. We are calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United – and we need you to help us hit this ambitious goal.

Sign your name and join the millions of Americans who've told their lawmakers to amend the Constitution and overturn Citizens United!

  • WE, the PEOPLE need to impeach the unholy five members of SCOTUS. THEN, find out how much money was paid to each of the “winners” in the GOP rout in Nov. Is there enough that they can be charged with buying the election?
  • As long as Citizen’s United remains in effect, democracy in this country is just a farce.
  • Citizens United has seriously damaged our democracy. It needs to be repealed ASAP!!
  • Thanks to MOVI for all the effort your organization is putting in to restoring our democracy!
  • This is 5 years after the Supreme Court decision, way longer than it should take to overturn this decision. How much longer can anyone expect our citizens to remain law-abiding?
