Candidate Pledge

With every election voters send fellow citizens to city, state and federal office so that they can represent our interests at all levels of government. This is the bedrock of our republic upon which the legitimacy of self-government rests. With the pledge below candidates seeking to represent Californians in the US Congress and the California Legislature vow that they will abide by the "instruction" of their constituents as expressed in Proposition 59.
